What phones are compatible with the slack card?
Our cards can be used on compatible smartphones in two different ways, first one with simply tapping The Slack Card against the smartphone; and second for older iPhone models you can simply open up the iPhone's camera & scan the 2D Barcode printed on The Slack Card to get your contact details transferred.
Virtually all Android Smartphones are compatible with the Tap feature of The Slack Card; however, in some ones (older ones) you have to manually activate the function (just one time). no special apps are required for transferring your contact details via the Camera Scan (simply open up the iPhone's-Android camera & scan the barcode to transfer your contact details to your smartphone) feature on iPhones as old as the iPhone 5S (iOS11 or newer required)
Remember that all new phones since XS in case of the apple products come with the function totally activated and ready. So, you just have to tap.
Can I buy cards for someone else from my account?
Of course! Each card is self-programming. And you just have to do "Join" instead of "Login"
I still need traditional business cards if I have the slack Card?
Right now, The SLACK Card we sell it as a supplementary to your traditional business cards,( have in mind that you will use fewer traditional business card) but meant to be a complete replacement in a few years.
Some people have, however, decided to get rid of traditional business cards altogether.
Also this is perfect for people that only needs business cards occasionally.

How I activate the tap functionality in my android?
1. On your Android device, tap on “Settings.”
2. Select “Connected devices.”
3. Select “Connection preferences.”
4. You should see “NFC” and “Android Beam” options.
5. Turn both of them on.

Can I update/edit my information after receiving my card(s)?
Of course! You simply enter your account in https://slack.cards/en/login. or if your already logged in, just tap your card with your phone and press the little pencil in your profile left top corner
